HEAVY LIFT CRANE SERVICES

Port Services (Aberdeen) Ltd is able to undertake all types of lifting operations using a full range of cranes from 35 tonnes to 1200 tonnes in capacity. Using experienced and qualified personnel, every aspect of crane usage is catered for, ensuring that health and safety requirements are always fully met.

Fully certified Appointed Persons will plan and control the lifting operation. This is often coupled with the clients requesting for the lifting operation to be carried out as a Contract Lift rather than under standard CPA (Construction Plant Hire Association) conditions. This arrangement enables Port Services (Aberdeen) Ltd to take responsibility for the planning and management of the lifting operation along with the insurance requirements. Cranes can be transported for use anywhere in the UK and Europe.

Services available include:

• Site visits to discuss lifting operation and to advise on logistics.
• The preparation of a method statement and lifting plan.
• Insurance for either the cranes and/or the goods being lifted.
• The provision of fully certified banksman/slingers who can assist in the management and execution of the lifting operation.
• The transportation of items being lifted to their final destination.
