Port Services (Aberdeen) Limited's heavy haulage division is solely devoted to providing a high quality service for the movement of heavy or abnormal loads, not only in the Invergordon and local area but also throughout the United Kingdom.

This is successfully achieved by utilising our fleet of some of the most modern, state-of-the-art tractor units and low-loaders.

PSI operates under Special Types General Order Categories 1, 2 & 3. Drivers are fully trained to ADR regulations on hazardous goods movements and are supplied with personal protective equipment as standard issue.

The operations staff are on duty seven days per week, directly controlling all customer and driver communications from one central headquarters. They are CPC qualified and have a wealth of industry experience to call upon. All vehicles are equipped with mobile communication equipment allowing continuous monitoring of vehicle status at all times.

Wide / Abnormal Load Escorting Service

Port Services (Aberdeen) Limited currently have two escort vans available for wide / abnormal load movements throughout the United Kingdom.

We also use this service in-house to escort our own heavy haulage and crane hire fleet but are available to offer this service to other transport operators or customers.

We can also provide the service of police notification on behalf of clients and keep in contact with police forces during the escorted journey. Both vans have contact via a two way radio system and have mobile phones.
